The Endocrine Society, the European Association for the Study of Diabetes, Diabetes UK, and the American Diabetes Association combined forces to release guidelines around the term. According to their statement, people with type 2 diabetes should be considered in remission after sustaining normal blood sugar levels for three months or more. Portland Streetcar announced its closure on Twitter, citing intense heat that damaged a streetcar cable. A photo posted by the service showed how the heat melted a rubber-lined cable. Some commenters questioned the legitimacy of the photo, citing that mechanical issues caused the damage, not the heat. “If there’s thread marks on the cable, that’s abrasion. Excerpts: How is your preparation for the Asian Games? Preparation leading up to the Asian Games looks good and positive. We had a good outing at the World Cup which is a good confidence booster. We are already in Gwangju, South Korea near Incheon. We are having a three-and-half week camp before the Asian Games. How are the practice facilities in Gwangju? Practice and training facilities are really good. We are getting to train and get help from professional archers and archery institutes here....
